In recognition of the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in financial services, we are introducing the TAB Global AI Excellence Awards 2026 as a standalone category.

These exclusive awards will recognise financial institutions that are redefining future by embedding artificial intelligence (AI) into the core of their business. We believe that the most forward-looking financial institutions use AI as a strategic and ethical enabler—transforming business models, deepening relationships, driving inclusion and strengthening resilience.

These institutions are redefining customer engagement, product and technology innovation, operational performance and responsible governance with the use of AI. These rigorous and transparent awards will assess participating institutions at international and country levels.

Submissions are open across applications in financial institutions, highlighting measurable impact, responsible implementation and scalability of AI in delivering value to customers, business and the industry. Please find the scope of the programme and the details of the awards on the following pages. The framework defines each category and subcategory with belief statements, concise descriptions and the evaluation criteria, for the submission kit and invitation materials.
